Storage Usage

Understand and manage your band's storage across recordings, posts, and media

Last updated: March 9, 2026

Storage Usage

Your storage limit depends on your subscription plan. Usage is calculated from all media files across your band.

What Counts Toward Storage

  • Recordings — Audio files (MP3, WAV, FLAC, etc.)
  • Posts — Photos and videos in posts
  • Member Posts — Fan-submitted content
  • Event Moments — Photos and videos from events
  • Branding Images — Avatars, logos, cover images, EPK photos

Viewing Your Usage

Go to BandStorage Usage to see:

  • Overview — Total usage vs. your plan limit
  • Breakdown — Usage by content type (recordings, posts, member posts, etc.)

Storage Limits by Plan

  • Free — Limited storage
  • Starter — Moderate storage for growing bands
  • Pro — Higher limits for active bands with lots of content

Tips to Reduce Usage

  1. Compress recordings — Use lower bitrates for demos or non-final mixes
  2. Resize images — Upload images at recommended dimensions; avoid oversized files
  3. Remove unused content — Delete old drafts, duplicate uploads, or outdated media
  4. Upgrade your plan — If you're consistently near the limit, consider upgrading
