Member Groups

Groups let you organize fans and give them access to specific content. Use groups for VIP tiers, early access, or exclusive releases.

Creating a Group

1. Go to Members → Groups
2. Click New Group
3. Fill in:

Basic Info

• Internal Name — Visible to admins only (e.g., "VIP Early Access")
• Display Name — Shown to members (e.g., "Inner Circle")
• Description — Internal notes about the group

Image

• Avatar — Square image (256×256px) to identify the group

Permissions

• Chord Charts — Members can view and download chord charts for songs
• EPK Access — Members can access the Electronic Press Kit

Members

• Add members by selecting from your member list

Using Groups for Content

When creating or editing content (posts, recordings, songs, events), use Exclusive To to restrict access:

• Leave empty — All members can see it
• Select groups — Only members in those groups can access it

Example Use Cases

• VIP — Early access to releases, exclusive demos
• Street Team — Chord charts, promo materials
• Premium — Full EPK access, high-res downloads
• Local — Events in a specific city or region

Managing Groups

• Add/remove members — Edit the group to add or remove members
• Edit permissions — Change chord chart or EPK access as needed
• Rename — Update display name if your tier structure changes
