Creating and Managing Events
Events let you promote shows, concerts, and meetups. Fans can see upcoming events, get details, and you can share moments from each event.
Creating an Event
- Go to Content → Events
- Click New Event
- Fill in the details:
Basic Info
- Title — Event name (e.g., "Summer Tour 2025 - Chicago")
- Description — Details about the event, venue, lineup
- Start & End — Date and time
Venue
- Venue Name — Where the event is held
- Address — Full address for maps and directions
- City, State, Country — For filtering and display
Media
- Cover Image — Square image for events (512×512px recommended)
- Avatar — Alternative for event cards
Visibility
- Exclusive To — Leave empty to share with all members, or select groups for exclusive access
Event Notifications
When you create a new event, members receive a notification — but only if they can view the event. Admins always receive new event notifications. For events with no group restrictions, all members are notified. For group-exclusive events, only members in those groups receive the notification.
Event Types
- Concert — Live performance
- Meet & Greet — Fan meetup
- Listening Party — Release listening event
- Workshop — Masterclass, Q&A, etc.
Sharing Event Moments
After an event, create a moment to share photos or short updates with fans who attended. Moments can be tied to the event for context.
Calendar Export
Fans can add your events to their calendar. Events include an .ics download for Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook.
Tips
- Add details early — Venue and time help fans plan
- Use a strong cover image — Events with images get more attention
- Share moments — Post-event photos and videos keep the experience alive
