Adding Songs to Playlists

Add songs to your playlists and projects—whether you're building an album, a setlist, or a simple curated collection.

Adding Songs

Method 1: Add Existing Songs

1. Open your playlist or project
2. Click Add Songs or Manage Songs
3. Select songs from your library
4. Click Add to Playlist (or Add to Project)
5. Arrange songs in order
6. Save changes

Method 2: Create New Songs

1. Open your playlist or project
2. Click Add Songs → Create New Song
3. Fill in song details
4. Upload audio file
5. Save and add to the playlist

Song Order

Arrange songs in your preferred order:

1. Go to the playlist's songs section
2. Drag and drop songs to reorder
3. Or use up/down arrows
4. Save changes

Song Details

For each song in your playlist, you can set:

• Title — Song name
• Track Number — Position in the playlist
• Duration — Automatically detected from audio
• Lyrics — Optional song lyrics
• Credits — Songwriters, producers, etc.

Removing Songs

To remove a song from a playlist:

1. Open the playlist
2. Go to the songs section
3. Click Remove next to the song
4. Confirm removal

Note: This doesn't delete the song, just removes it from the playlist.

Playlist Access

Songs in a playlist follow the playlist access policy: members who can see the playlist can play all tracks, including group-exclusive recordings. For those tracks they can play and comment but cannot view charts or download.

Tips

• Consistent Naming - Use consistent naming conventions
• Complete Metadata - Fill in all song information
• Proper Ordering - Think about song flow
• Quality Audio - Use high-quality audio files
