Press

Press items let you track reviews, articles, and interviews. From each item you can generate EPK quotes (shown on your public EPK) and blog posts (shared with your fan community).

Adding a Press Item

1. Go to Content → Press
2. Click New Press Item
3. Fill in the source details:
   • Publication — Newspaper, magazine, blog, etc.
   • Publication location — Where it was published
   • Author — Writer or host
   • Published date — When it appeared
   • Headline — Article title
   • URL — Link to the article
   • Type — Newspaper, Magazine, Blog, Podcast, Radio, TV, or Other
4. Paste the article text into the Article Text field
5. Optionally add an article image (1200×675px recommended)

EPK Quotes

Quotes from your press items appear in the Press Quotes section on your EPK.

Generate Quotes (AI)

If you've pasted article text, click Generate Quotes on the edit page. AI will extract notable quotes and add them to the EPK Quotes relation manager. You can edit or remove any generated quote.

Add Quotes Manually

In the EPK Quotes tab, click Add Quote Manually to add a quote and attribution (e.g., "Rolling Stone, March 2025") without using AI.

Reordering

Quotes are shown on the EPK in sort order. Use drag-and-drop in the EPK Quotes table to reorder them.

Blog Posts from Press

Turn a press item into a community blog post:

1. On the press item edit page, click Generate Post
2. AI generates a blog post from the article text
3. Review the draft in the modal. Edit the title and body as needed
4. Click Save As Draft Post — this creates a draft post in Content → Posts linked to this press item
5. Publish when ready from the Posts list, or use Review Outputs to approve and publish

Save As Draft Post

Save As Draft Post creates or updates a real Post record with status "draft." The post appears in Content → Posts where you can edit and publish it. If your band has no users, you'll see an error — add at least one band member with admin role.

Tips

• Paste full text — AI works best with complete article text
• Review generated content — Always review AI-generated quotes and posts before publishing
• Keep attribution clear — Use "Publication, Month Year" format for credibility
